All our children have access to age appropriate indoor and outdoor spaces to excite, inspire and grow with your child. We ensure that their journey throughout the nursery meets their individual needs and helps to prepare every child for their eventual transition to school. Our expert staff know each child’s stage of development well and plan effectively for their next steps.
Each child has their own keyworker (and co-worker) who helps to track their development and ensure that they are provided with the opportunity to blossom by exploring their individual interests, providing them with excitement and challenge and nurturing them as a member of our nursery family.
Both you and your child will develop a close relationship with your key person helping to promote positive communication.
All of our children are encouraged to share, be kind and play with each other. This helps to develop confidence and communication skills.
Blossoms (0-14 months)
Our youngest children enjoy their own dedicated baby suites with safe and secure indoor and outdoor areas.
Our homely settings are calm and cosy with areas to eat, sleep and play! We enjoy sensory activities to stimulate and develop our littlest minds and quiet times to relax and unwind.
As children begin their journey through the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) they start to learn about the world around them through creative activities, encouragement to explore their environments and playing with their friends.
Caterpillars (1-2 years)
As children start to develop and grow there is a real focus on providing lots of physical adventures both indoors and outdoors. We love getting messy in creative play and developing our motor skills and language.
Our children are encouraged to share and be kind to their friends. Social interaction with their friends and carers is encouraged through small family meal times where even at a young age we talk about the importance and benefits of healthy eating.
Butterflies (2-3 years)
Our growing and developing children continue to participate in carefully planned learning opportunities both indoors and outdoors.
In our Butterflies rooms we love to investigate through physical exploration, we learn more about managing our emotions and sharing with our friends.
We have lots of fun during creative time, enjoying music and dance activities and role play areas. There is focus around all prime areas of the EYFS but also about learning to be “ME”!
Wise Owls/Early Years (3 years and over)
Our pre-school groups are coordinated by a qualified teacher, activities are planned to incorporate play led learning whilst continuing to focus on your child’s emotional needs. We work with each child to develop their independence and self-confidence and encourage everyone to be sociable and happy. Skills that will enable them to ask questions, find the answers and help them to manage future challenges. Our low 1:8 staff ratios will ensure your child has individual adult attention should they require support. By capturing your child’s interest and enthusiasm together we will see them flourish.
