Life Outdoors

Our Nurseries are blessed with amazing outdoor spaces which provide fantastic learning and challenging opportunities to our children. Children enjoy being outdoors all year round, they enjoy building snowmen in the Winter, sweeping and collecting leaves in the Autumn and picnics and sports days in the Spring and Summer.
Children learn about their environment, bird watching, nature trails, and growing their own plants and vegetables.

We have an assortment of nursery pets, including guinea pigs and chickens which are of great interest and excite little minds to ask questions, learn and grow – our children love looking after them, stroking them, feeding them and most of all collecting and counting the eggs!

Outdoor equipment and resources provide physical challenge whilst our mud kitchens are areas for creativity and inspiration. Our reading areas bring stories to life with the magic of the great outdoors. There really is so much to do and explore here at The Orange Tree!
